Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern

Dewberry is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 for our Fairfax, VA office. You will work on all phases of civil/municipal engineering including water and sanitary sewer design. Typical projects involve helping local, state, and regional clients solve complex water and wastewater challenges. Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Civil Engineering required.
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Desire to work in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous internship experience preferred.
- Proficiency using CADD a plus
Responsibilities
- Work on all phases of civil/municipal engineering including water and sanitary sewer design.

- Participate in a series of workshops and events.
- Participate in networking opportunities to meet other interns, staff, and senior leaders across the business.

- Participate in professional development workshops, including a career planning workshop and a DiSC assessment to learn more about themselves and how to work effectively with others.
- Work alongside firm leaders on a summer-long group project to address issues that will impact our future strategy.
