Dewberry is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 for our Fairfax, VA office. You will work on all phases of civil/municipal engineering including water and sanitary sewer design. Typical projects involve helping local, state, and regional clients solve complex water and wastewater challenges. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Civil Engineering required.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Desire to work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship experience preferred.
  • Proficiency using CADD a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work on all phases of civil/municipal engineering including water and sanitary sewer design.

  • Participate in professional development workshops, including a career planning workshop and a DiSC assessment to learn more about themselves and how to work effectively with others.
  • Work alongside firm leaders on a summer-long group project to address issues that will impact our future strategy.
