About The Position

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join their Water Team. This role involves serving as a technical leader on complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects, helping clients address critical challenges through thoughtful planning, innovative design, and practical engineering solutions. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience required
Linear design experience (distribution and collection systems) or water treatment or wastewater treatment process experience required
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws.
Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Responsibilities

Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for water and wastewater infrastructure projects
Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff
Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital infrastructure
Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions
Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff
