Water/Wastewater Engineer
About The Position
Reputable multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join their Phoenix team! This role involves leading quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) activities, making recommendations regarding project design work, and collaborating closely with other teams and engineers on a variety of water and wastewater projects. Projects include sanitary sewer piping, wastewater pump stations, wastewater treatment facilities, water piping, water supply wells, water storage tanks, and water treatment facilities. The position also requires travel to job sites as needed and mentoring/training junior staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 8+ years of related water/wastewater experience
- PE License
- Experience in AutoCAD or other related software experience
- Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) activities
- Make recommendations regarding project design work
- Work closely with other teams and engineers on wastewater collection/treatment projects, water supply, storage, treatment, and distribution
- Travel to job sites as needed
- Mentor/train junior staff
