This isn’t just a job, it's a chance to lead change, drive progress, and leave a lasting legacy. HDR Engineering is looking for a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our growing NTX/OK/AR team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
  • Previous experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects.
  • Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license).
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • MS degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, directing and monitoring technical aspects of pump station, pipeline, drinking water, and wastewater design projects which contain a high degree of technical complexity.
  • Performing complex assignments, exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Making decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed.
  • Involved with client relationships.
  • Function as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects as needed.
  • Coordinating staffing and workload of staff through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule.
  • Supervising small staff of professionals and technicians as needed.
  • Implementing QA/QC procedures and for the execution of training for personnel as established.
  • Participating in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance.
  • Performing other duties as needed.
