Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
  • 0-2 years of related experience
  • Experience using AutoCAD/ Civil 3D required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience or knowledge is a plus: Potable Water system design (WTPs, pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks)
  • Wastewater/Storm Drain system design (Pipelines and lift stations)
  • Water/Wastewater System planning (Master Plans, hydraulic modeling)
  • Flood Control System Design (levee design, ULDC compliance)
  • EIT is a plus
  • Experience with ArcGIS, HY-8, HEC-RAS, Win TR-55, Win TR-20, HydroCad, and Excel is all beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Design projects of varying disciplines (levee design, WTPs, pump stations, pipelines, storage tanks, etc.)
  • Hydraulic modeling for potable water systems and flooding analyses
  • Prepare figures, maps, and other graphics using AutoCAD and GIS software
  • Prepare technical reports and memoranda
  • Communicate well with other staff engineers, project managers, and principal engineers
