About The Position

J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking a collaborative and solutions-oriented Water/Wastewater Design Engineer (EIT or PE) to join their Kennewick office. This role is for an engineer with 3-6 years of water, wastewater, or municipal infrastructure experience who is ready for greater responsibility, exciting projects, and meaningful career growth. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Water Resources Engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience focused on water/wastewater or municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with planning, design, and construction support for utility projects.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-6 years of water, wastewater, or municipal infrastructure experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and design of water distribution, water treatment, wastewater collection, and wastewater collection systems.
  • Supporting projects from concept through construction.
  • Analyze engineering data, interpret plans and specifications, and make sound decisions.
  • Working closely with senior engineers and project managers who actively mentor and invest in your growth.
  • Working with our other discipline engineers on coordinating structural, electrical, and survey.
  • Collaborate with agencies, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Organize and conduct meetings with consulting partners, contractors, clients, and agencies.
  • Using modern design tools such as AutoCAD Civil3D, WaterCAD, Aquatwin Sewer and MS Office.
