About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates a water truck to control dust on haul roads and work areas, performs routine inspections and basic maintenance of the vehicle, and safely navigates the plant site while communicating with team members. The operator will monitor water levels and refill as needed throughout the shift, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic guidelines on site.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate large vehicles in active work zones
• Strong awareness of surroundings and commitment to safety
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to changing site needs
• Basic understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
