About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates a water truck safely and efficiently to support dust control and site preparation. The operator will maintain truck equipment, reporting any mechanical or safety issues promptly. They will follow established routes and schedules to support production and site activities, and work collaboratively with site teams to ensure safe traffic flow and jobsite operations. Adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements is essential.

Requirements

  • Ability to safely operate and maneuver a water truck in active work areas.
  • Strong situational awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Capability to perform basic equipment inspections and communicate maintenance needs.
  • Reliability and consistency in meeting operational schedules and work expectations.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills across diverse site teams.
