About The Position

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates a water truck to control dust and maintain safe haul roads and work areas within an aggregate plant environment. The position involves performing pre- and post-operation inspections, coordinating with plant and pit personnel, maintaining accurate records, and promptly reporting equipment or safety concerns. Adherence to all safety, environmental, and operational procedures is crucial.

Requirements

Ability to safely operate heavy equipment in an aggregate or industrial environment
Strong focus on safety, compliance, and situational awareness
Capability to perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
Dependable, adaptable, and able to work varying schedules as required
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Responsibilities
