About The Position

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Water Truck Driver based out of our Sun City, AZ plant location. This role will be responsible for driving a water truck on site to control dust and perform various other duties to create a safe work environment. The position requires the ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment and actively promote safety awareness. Compliance with all industry safety rules, procedures, and government regulations is essential. Maintaining strong communication with other plant employees and operators, performing assigned labor and other duties, and various work duties as needed such as shoveling rocks are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • 6 months Water Truck or Truck driving experience
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing
  • Use of common sense
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
  • Positive, Team-based attitude
  • The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required
  • The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
  • Must be able to meet all MSHA safety requirements and adhere to company safety policies
  • Must be able to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat more than 100 degrees, cold and rain
  • Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, as well as bend and lift up to 80 pounds
