About The Position

The Water Truck Driver is responsible for wetting cane haul roads at locations designated by their manager. The driver must operate the truck safely, follow applicable safety procedures and protocols, inspect the truck routinely, and keep the vehicle and equipment clean and organized. The role is located at SFC and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Experience operating large trucks or commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of local roads.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions accurately.
• Good physical condition to load water trucks.
• Excellent organizational skills and attendance.
• Strong communication skills.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely.
• Wet roads at locations designated by the manager.
• Conduct routine inspections of water trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures during working hours.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment.
