Water Truck Driver
About The Position
OVERVIEW (Archer Wright JV) is currently seeking a Water Truck Driver for the (TSENC/ I-26 Downtown Connector), in (Asheville, NC). The Water Truck Driver will drive a Water Truck with a capacity of at least three tons to transport water as needed around the jobsite. Our employees are built to succeed. Requirements
- Requires commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Requires good manual dexterity
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Nice To Haves
- 3-5 years of truck driving experience preferred
- may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
- communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
- Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
- may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
Responsibilities
- Operates truck to move and/or transport water as required by jobsite
- Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials
- May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment
- May perform other related duties as required
