In this role, you will be the primary architect of safe and efficient water delivery to sod, trees, and plant materials across multiple residential and commercial sites.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Alberta traffic laws, commercial vehicle inspection requirements, and job site safety protocols including PPE and FLRAs.
  • Proficiency in operating heavy vehicles; ability to use mobile applications for GPS navigation and digital documentation.
  • Valid Alberta Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brake (Q) endorsement; physical stamina to pull heavy hoses and walk on uneven terrain.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a water truck across job sites, delivering water using hoses and side sprayers while adjusting methods based on site conditions.
  • Follow site maps and routing to complete daily assignments, maintaining accurate work tickets with photos and notes on plant health.
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of brakes, fluids, and pumps to ensure the vehicle remains in peak operating condition.
  • Participate in FLRAs and tailgate meetings while maintaining strong situational awareness of pedestrians and other vehicles.
  • Use mobile devices for GPS navigation and digital reporting to track production and submit daily timesheets.
