Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Water Treatment Plant Process Control Specialist. The Water Treatment Plant Process Control Specialist reports to the Water Distribution Superintendent. The primary functions of this position include: Evaluating treatment plant performance by reviewing system inspections, operational data, historical records, and graphic trends to drive process control decisions. Investigating and diagnosing abnormalities in groundwater wells, reservoirs, booster stations, and treatment processes — recommending corrective actions to maintain regulatory compliance. Developing and implementing process control procedures that improve the efficiency and reliability of water treatment plant operations. Assessing chemical usage to determine the appropriate chemicals, dosage levels, and application points for safe and effective water treatment. Writing comprehensive reports on process control operations for management and regulatory agencies, and maintaining accurate logs and records of work performed.
