About The Position
Guarantee Restoration Services (GRS) is a leading restoration company along the gulf coast that is known for restoring homes and businesses that have been damaged from traumatic events such as a hurricane, fire, water leak, mold, etc. Our dedicated team of professionals work hard to be available 24/7. We believe in serving our community members by providing property relief during a time when they need it most. We're looking for an experienced Water Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires after hours and weekend work as needed.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Must be able to work weekdays, nights, and weekends
- Must be on call for any afterhours work that comes in
- Hard worker with attention to detail
- Relationship building/maintenance skills
- Must be reliable, dependable, and drug free
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 years experience working Water Mitigation projects preferred
- Opportunities for restoration certifications
Responsibilities
- Assist project manager on various construction projects
- Specialize in water damage from small scale to large scale flooding projects
- Learn about different types of drying equipment
- General labor duties such as gutting, cleaning, and packing
- Assist with demolition and reconstruction
- Pre and post construction clean-up
