About The Position

Boone Restoration is growing its emergency water mitigation team and is looking for a driven Water Technician who wants to be part of a high-performing team that takes pride in doing the job right. The purpose of this role is to start, monitor, and complete water mitigation projects while delivering a professional, efficient, and customer-focused restoration experience. The Water Technician is responsible for executing water mitigation projects from setup through completion while maintaining high standards of organization, accuracy, and professionalism. This role includes setting and monitoring drying equipment, documenting project conditions using company technology, maintaining equipment and vehicles, and ensuring projects are fully dry before completion. The technician communicates professionally with homeowners, adjusters, and team members while maintaining a clean and organized jobsite. The role also requires participation in an after-hours on-call rotation and adherence to all company safety standards and procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Able to work on average of 42-45 hours per week
  • Able to lift 50 pounds or greater
  • Basic computer skills
  • Willingness to work after hours for emergency work (on rotation)

Responsibilities

  • Assess a flooded building and devise a plan to mitigate to prevent further loss
  • Remove damaged materials, set up & monitor equipment to dry a structure
  • Ensure homes stay neat and clean during the project
  • Detailed communication with the Homeowners, Co-workers, and Supervisor
  • Maintain company vehicle and coordinate with fleet manager
  • Maintain drying equipment and tools
  • Start, monitor, and complete water mitigation projects
  • Document project conditions using company technology
  • Ensure projects are fully dry before completion
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation
  • Adhere to all company safety standards and procedures
