About The Position

JW Water is seeking a dependable and motivated individual, preferably with some water operations experience, to assist with the maintenance, upkeep, and repairs of water distribution systems. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, safety-minded, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. A clean driving record is required.

Requirements

• Water operations experience, utility maintenance, or plumbing experience
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
• Must be dependable and able to work well with others
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of water distribution systems is a plus
• Willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repairs of water distribution systems
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Support and assist crews with repairs, and emergency response activities
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
• Follow company safety policies and procedures
• Assist in maintaining vehicles, equipment, and work areas
• Share on call, and or respond to after-hours emergencies as needed
