About The Position

Trademark Metals Recycling LLC is seeking a Water System Operator to join their team in Bushnell, FL. This role is crucial for maintaining the water systems within the facility, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and contributing to the overall production and maintenance efforts. The position offers a day shift (M-F 6am - 4pm) or night shift (M-F 4pm - 2 am) and provides a competitive annual income averaging $60,000, which includes overtime, base pay, and production bonuses. Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop outdoor environment while providing excellent customer service.
Minimum of 1-year previous general labor in heavy manufacturing environments and warehouses preferably in the scrap metal or construction industries.
Ability to work standing or walking for up to 12 hours per day.
Ability to adapt to frequent changes of priority and complete job tasks safely and effectively without constant supervision.
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Flexible to work overtime, off-hours, weekends, and holidays in an industrial/warehouse environment which includes being outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to work in extreme heat and be exposed to weather.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Candidates within 50 miles of location preferred.

Nice To Haves

Ability to operate a forklift is a plus.
Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Attend safety meetings and participate in safety program.
Responsible for completing and maintaining maintenance records.
Monitors pumps, piping, filter equipment, and centrifuge.
Monitors chemical systems.
Collects samples for water testing.
Adjust metering pumps as needed.
Switch chemical totes as required.
Monitor water flow by clearing small jams in water lines using water/air compressor.
Performs preventative maintenance including lubricating and measuring wear.
Operate small equipment of various sizes including forklifts, skid steers, etc. on an as needed basis.
Provide technical support by monitoring various production equipment, making adjustments to feed/discharge rates of various production equipment, troubleshooting issues with production equipment.
Conducts frequent and periodic inspections of plant to detect malfunctions, initiates corrective actions, and reporting it to the supervisor.
Perform daily scheduled preventative and emergency maintenance on production equipment including greasing, lubricating, cleaning, and measuring.
Keep grounds clear of debris while maintaining safety standards.
Perform interior and exterior building maintenance, housekeeping chores and ground maintenance, including but not limited to sweeping, shoveling and general clean-up of any area and/or equipment throughout the yard.
Effectively communicate over radio with teammates for traffic coordination, production, and safety procedures.
Willing to cross-train in other positions and assist other employees as needed.
