About The Position

ECM Holding Group, INC. is seeking a highly motivated Water Solutions Auditor/Engineer who is willing to travel 80-90% of the time. In this role, you will perform on-site assessments of water and mechanical systems, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and recommend solutions that reduce costs and environmental impact. You will work closely with customers and project teams to support energy and water conservation efforts while ensuring systems meet safety, quality, and compliance standards. Your work will help create more efficient and sustainable buildings in both new construction and retrofit projects.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in auditing, energy management, construction, or a related industry.
  • Basic understanding of building systems such as HVAC, water, steam, and building envelope systems.
  • Familiarity with estimating, bidding, or project documentation practices is beneficial.
  • Experience collecting and reviewing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of engineering and mechanical system concepts.
  • Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Basic understanding of project costs, return on investment (ROI), and energy-saving opportunities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and other business software.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in both field and remote work environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site inspections and assessments at customer locations.
  • Record and document existing equipment and system information using company software.
  • Assist with developing project recommendations and calculating potential energy savings.
  • Help identify mechanical system issues and support solutions.
  • Work closely with experienced team members who provide training, guidance, and feedback.
  • Assist with planning and completing assigned project tasks.
  • Coordinate with team members, contractors, and customers as needed.
  • Follow established procedures, company standards, and project requirements.
  • Stay organized while managing multiple projects and provide regular updates to management.
  • Learn about new technologies, products, and industry trends to support continuous improvement.
  • Work in mechanical rooms and industrial environments that may be noisy, dusty, dirty, or dimly lit.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
