About The Position

Roto-Rooter is hiring full-time Water Restoration Technicians. After a paid training program, expected earnings are between $40,000 and $60,000. No prior experience is necessary, and the role may suit people with backgrounds in carpet cleaning, construction, lawn care, pest control, or general labor. Flexible work schedules are available, and there are opportunities for growth within the Water Restoration department. The position involves working as part of a crew at customer sites to remove floodwater, damaged materials, and dry affected areas, while following safety procedures and meeting customer expectations.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver's license.
Be medically cleared to wear a respirator and complete a respirator fit test.
Maintain IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician certification.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old if the position is DOT regulated.

Experience or skills in carpet cleaning, construction, lawn care, pest control, or general labor.

Responsibilities

Arrive at customer sites as scheduled.
Inspect sites and present solutions to customers.
Work as part of a crew to remove floodwater using pumps and specialized equipment.
Help remove damaged furniture, flooring, and wallboard.
Position specialized equipment to dry affected areas.
Follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
Complete projects within the established time frame and to the customer's satisfaction.
Locate and arrive at job sites in a timely manner.
Safely drive and operate a service vehicle between job sites.
