Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in hydrology and water resources engineering.
- Ability to walk and climb over rough terrain and lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Completed coursework or prior experience in civil engineering projects, including fluid mechanics, open-channel hydraulics, and/or stormwater management.
- Working knowledge and experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
- Familiarity with NPDES municipal, industrial, and/or construction stormwater regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- Previous experience with construction observation and/or fieldwork.
- Strong public speaking skills.
Responsibilities
- Support members of the Water Resources team.
- Assist with analysis and design of storm sewer collection systems.
- Perform hydraulic modeling and stormwater BMP modeling.
- Support stormwater compliance projects and SWPPP development.
- Prepare project documentation, including technical design reports, engineering calculations, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
