The Water Resources Design Engineer performs engineering design using general engineering principles and practices to interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate assignments. Immigration sponsorship or support, including H1B and F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT, is unavailable for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for TN visa classification.

Responsibilities

• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to support engineering tasks.
• Support watershed delineation, drainage area mapping, and hydrologic computations for stormwater management and drainage design.
• Assist in designing projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines using design software and drawing tools.
• Assist with developing project quantities and construction cost estimates.
• Assist in preparing engineering documents for advertisement and construction.
• Support preparation of stormwater reports, permit exhibits, design calculations, and design narratives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
