The Engineer-in-Training (EIT) – Water Resource EIT supports the planning, analysis, design, and delivery of water resources infrastructure projects in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. The role contributes to multidisciplinary transportation assignments involving drainage systems, culverts, sewers, bridges, and related hydraulic infrastructure, while collaborating with internal and external project teams throughout design and construction phases. Responsibilities include hydrologic and hydraulic assessments, preparation of technical reports, development of engineering drawings, field investigations, quantity calculations, tender documentation, and coordination of project deliverables. The position also supports proposal development, schedule monitoring, budget tracking, and stakeholder engagement within a transportation engineering environment. The ideal candidate possesses an academic background in civil, water resources, or environmental engineering, demonstrates strong analytical capabilities, and has exposure to transportation drainage and stormwater management projects. Regular field work across Ontario, including Northern Ontario assignments, forms a key component of the role.
