About The Position

As a Water Quality Specialist, you help homeowners understand their water and offer solutions to improve water quality. You test water, explain results, and recommend products that support healthier homes. The role involves residential plumbing inspections, identifying water quality needs, quoting and completing repairs or replacements, and selling equipment, accessories, and promotional materials. Training is provided to expand knowledge and expertise, with further certification expected. The position also includes on-call assignments and participation in staff meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

Sales experience is required.
Must be able to perform a plumbing inspection; training is available.
Ability to learn to determine residential water quality needs, quote prices, and perform repairs.
Ability to interact and communicate well with customers in their homes and businesses.
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds.
Ability to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, reach overhead, and work on ladders.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Further certification is expected following training.

Responsibilities

Test residential water, explain results, and recommend products and solutions to improve water quality.
Perform plumbing inspections and identify residential water quality needs and basic plumbing repairs.
Quote replacements and repairs accurately and complete proposed work as quoted.
Sell company equipment, accessories, and promotional materials.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
Participate in on-call assignments and provide backup as required.
Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
Follow company policies and procedures and contribute to a professional, friendly work environment.
Work hard, smart, and efficiently; maintain a positive attitude.
Perform other duties as assigned.
