About The Position

As a Water Quality Specialist, you help homeowners understand their water and offer solutions to improve water quality. You test water, explain results, and recommend products that support healthier homes. The role involves residential plumbing inspections, determining water quality needs, quoting and completing repairs, and selling equipment and related products. Training is provided to expand knowledge and expertise, with further certification expected. You will interact with customers in their homes and businesses and participate in on-call assignments as required.

Requirements

• Sales experience is required.
• Ability to perform a plumbing inspection; training is available.
• Ability to learn to determine residential water quality needs, quote prices, and perform repairs.
• Ability to interact and communicate well with customers in their homes and businesses.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, reach overhead, and work on ladders.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Positive attitude and ability to promote a professional, friendly work environment.

Responsibilities

• Test water, explain results, and recommend products that improve water quality.
• Perform plumbing inspections and determine residential water quality needs.
• Quote replacements and repairs accurately and complete proposed work as quoted.
• Develop knowledge of residential plumbing operation, water quality, and basic plumbing repairs through training; pursue further certification as expected.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
• Sell company equipment, accessories, and promotional materials.
• Participate in on-call assignments and provide backup as required.
• Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
• Follow company policies and procedures and contribute to a professional, friendly work environment.
• Work hard, smart, and efficiently; perform other duties as assigned.
