About The Position

This position will provide support for water quality and treatment projects. The ideal candidate is a sophomore/junior undergraduate in civil or environmental engineering, who has the intention of applying to a graduate program. Knowledge and experience with laboratory procedures, mechanical equipment, tools/parts, and piloting is desirable. This position will provide support of water quality and treatment pilot projects. The successful candidate will be required to pass a drug screening and a background check.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a closely related field (e.g., chemistry, water resource, hydrology).
  • Current enrollment with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (undergraduate level) or 3 credit hours per semester (graduate level)
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Available to work approximately 25 hours weekly.
  • A valid Nevada driver’s license
  • Legal right to work in the US, including authorization to work off-campus.
  • Must attach resume, letter of intent, most recent school schedule, and unofficial transcript in application.

  • Experience working in a laboratory setting or engineering firm is preferable.
