Under general supervision, the SCADA Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system that monitors and controls the water & wastewater treatment plant. This includes hardware, software, PLCs, HMIs, communication networks, and data reporting. The SCADA Technician ensures system reliability, optimizes plant operations through SCADA, provides support to plant personnel, and assists with integration of new systems and equipment. Position requires field and office work, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to respond to operational needs promptly. Must be able to assist other departments, and in addition, this position will require assisting with other duties as assigned.
