About The Position

The Water Park Bartender is responsible for preparing all beverages served in the Swim up Bar and Smoothie Bar. This role involves maintaining stock in all bar areas, ensuring cleanliness of bar and storage areas and equipment, collecting payments, and keeping back bar liquor displays and retail merchandise full, clean, and attractive. The bartender must also secure company assets and money, adhere to all sanitation and liquor laws, and follow specific procedures for serving drinks to cabana servers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a position of food service
• Math skills enough to make change, calculate percentages, process discounts, ring up bills and have good accountability for collection of goods and services
• Must be organized to be able to handle multiple tasks at once
• Must be proficient in detecting and reconciling errors
• Ability to stand and walk continuously
• Ability to lift trays, racks of glasses, cases of beer or beverages and other items of similar weight
• Ability to lift and carry tables and chairs
• Ability to work different schedules, long hours and attend meetings

Responsibilities

• Following all the Sanitation and Liquor laws
• Not serving drinks to cabana servers without a chit slip
