Requirements

Two to five years of experience covering all aspects of utility operation.
Comprehensive knowledge of laws and regulations that apply to various governing agencies.
Thorough knowledge of water system operations, as applicable.
Valid Oregon driver’s license.
Hold Water Distribution 1 or Water Treatment Plant Operator 1 certification.

Nice To Haves

Preference for level 2 certification or higher.

Responsibilities

Schedule and oversee daily work by field operators and technicians to fulfill the operational drinking water requirements and task orders
Develop and manage operations team, develop staff to effectively provide services, to complete training, and to gain certifications in accordance with company policy.
Ensure compliance sampling requirements are met
Ensure all operating manuals are up to date, including but not limited to O&M manuals, Emergency Response Plans, and site sampling plans.
Ensure all compliance violations are properly communicated and resolved.
Dispatch and monitor after hours emergency responses. Coordinate staff, equipment, and other resources to address all emergencies as expediently as possible.
Support the management of client communications.
Maintain current knowledge and understanding in order to ensure strict compliance with all federal and state rules and regulations.
Conduct scheduled employee staffing performance evaluations within Company guidelines.
Comply with all Company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Comply with Company grooming and uniform policy.
Complete tasks as requested by the Oregon Operations Sr. Manager.
