Pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or a closely related engineering discipline)
Familiarity or experience with AutoCAD
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

Prior work/internship experience at a design or consulting engineering firm or municipal work environment.
Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and/or Revit
EIT certification

Responsibilities

Evaluating, planning, and designing projects related to water/wastewater/stormwater treatment and conveyance, including pipelines and pumping facilities.
Supporting project management activities.
Contributing to sustainability and resilience projects by conducting vulnerability assessments, mitigation planning, and designing solutions for utilities, municipalities, and cities.
Performing site visits, water sampling, analyzing water quality, evaluating technologies, troubleshooting processes, and optimizing plant operations.
Gathering critical data and ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of water and wastewater systems.
Supporting Asset Management projects, including utilizing data analytics to perform operational and organizational assessments, conducting condition assessments, and evaluating the overall performance of water/wastewater/stormwater facilities.
Supporting preparation of reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials, and participating in client meetings.
Ensuring project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality, health and safety standards, and facilitating coordination for timely completion and submission of projects on time and budget.
Learning, designing, and managing databases, SQL server (including reporting and integration services), cloud-based computing services, and configuration of interactive dashboards.
Working independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility to accommodate collaboration with team members across the U.S. and internationally.
Learning and using digital tools to enhance customer experience, team and client collaboration, and project delivery including configuration and deployment of SharePoint, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Power BI, and Augmented Reality.
