About The Position

The Restoration Technician is responsible to perform emergency services, remediation and contents restoration work. Must adhere to EPA, OSHA, and local requirements regarding safety and hazardous materials handling. The individual must be available for emergency response work after-hours and on weekends. We handle a range of restoration projects including emergency mitigation, water damage restoration, carpet cleaning, fire and smoke damage restoration, sewage cleanup, mold remediation, and much more. We understand how stressful this situation can be, which is why we are equipped to help you deal with insurance companies, property management, and the many other parties interested or involved with the damage. Our water damage technicians, sales teams, and administrative professionals take pride in helping others through home and commercial building restoration.

Requirements

  • Must adhere to EPA, OSHA, and local requirements regarding safety and hazardous materials handling.
  • Ability to work 8+ hours a day, depending on the job requirements.
  • Must be available for emergency response work after-hours and on weekends.
  • Valid Driver license & Social Security
  • Can talk English

Nice To Haves

  • IICRC WRT, ASD and AMRT certificates
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • IICRC Certification (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification) is a plus but not required.
  • Previous experience 2- 4 years of packout / Mitigation is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, team members, and management.
  • Ability to safely operate equipment and handle physical tasks.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish is encouraged

Responsibilities

  • Carefully pack, label, inventory, and document customer contents
  • Load and unload contents for transport to and from secure storage
  • Wrap, protect, and stage furniture and personal items on-site
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and photos
  • Work closely with mitigation and restoration crews
  • Keep vehicles, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized
  • Willing to do Mitigation / Restoration work when needed
  • Perform tasks at high elevations, including using ladders and scaffolding safely.
  • Safely handle hazardous materials as required by the job.
