Arcadis is seeking a geotechnical, civil, environmental or structural engineer or geologist to join our team in Highlands Ranch, Colorado; Syracuse, NY; or Columbus, OH. We are looking for a candidate with 2-5 years of experience with strong organizational and team-building skills who feels comfortable with a dynamic work flow. As part of our Resilience Environment team, you’ll help improve quality of life. You will work alongside Engineers, Project/Program Managers, and Technical Experts on various activities in support of diverse pipeline asset integrity and environmental assessment project portfolios. This opportunity is to support our growing asset integrity team with geotechnical and environmental aspects related to pipeline geohazards. Primary focus will be on pipeline integrity associated with natural forces (especially related to rivers). Our services encompass a range of responsibilities aimed at pipeline and asset assessment, design, and evaluation. You will specialize in providing field and office support for a diverse portfolio of projects underway, catering primarily to oil and gas and other industrial clients. You will actively scope, estimate costs, and perform natural forces assessments on pipelines; potentially covering coastal, riverine, and land movement risks. Your focus will be on hydrotechnical and geotechnical hazards and you will collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines including fluvial geomorphologists, and environmental engineers on relevant projects.
