About The Position

Responsible for efficiently and thoroughly monitoring the saltwater disposal field locations to ensure that these locations are fully operational, maximizing capabilities/intake along with maintaining a professional and courteous attitude at all times. This role involves monitoring and supporting field activities safely and efficiently, utilizing systems and processes for dispatching, monitoring, and control of the disposal systems. The Water Controller will respond to alerts/alarms according to Standard Operating Procedures, detect and respond to all infrastructure alerts, and escalate to the appropriate parties as necessary. A working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware, and other equipment is essential. The position requires monitoring fluid levels of each tank, ensuring safe operations, and maintaining equipment and fluid levels to ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental agencies. Coordination with trucking companies on water delivery and ensuring smooth transition of shift turnovers through verbal and written communication are key responsibilities. Continuous improvement through evaluation of current processes is expected. Proactive monitoring of water levels at the site is necessary to ensure tanks are within their operating parameters. Recording problems such as downtime and actions taken, and providing management with reports and details as needed are also part of the role. Effective written communication and understanding of verbal and written communications, including email, are required. Occasional travel may be required. Dealing with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy, and professionalism, and speaking clearly with high-level verbal skills are important. Maintaining regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance is expected. The role requires working non-traditional hours, including a 12-hour shift rotation for a 24x7x365 operation. A high regard for personal safety, company assets, employees, and the general public must be maintained. Other daily, weekly, monthly, or special project duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).
  • Good problem-solving skills, including the ability to utilize multiple resources to arrive at a solution.
  • Strong customer focus that includes demonstrated and consistent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly analyze changing conditions at the facilities, and make appropriate adjustments within operating parameters.
  • Ability to perform the required and expected duties with little or no direct supervision.
  • Must be able to work with a team, take direction from management, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
  • Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize daily work.

  • The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, including credit report for certain positions, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.
