About The Position

Parametrix is seeking a Water Construction Manager in Yuma, Arizona, to support a water utility client with their major water and wastewater infrastructure improvement program. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in impactful construction projects, working closely with field teams, contractors, design teams, and client representatives. The position involves a 50/50 split between field and office work and is a long-term project assignment expected to last from six months to two years.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience supporting water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Experience with construction management, construction inspection, water/wastewater design, or a combination of these areas.
• Familiarity with municipal water and wastewater facilities, including pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, storage reservoirs, and related infrastructure.
• Experience coordinating with contractors, owners, designers, and field personnel during construction activities.
• Ability to review plans, specifications, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and construction documentation.
• Comfortable working in active construction environments and performing site visits in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction activities to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, permits, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, client representatives, designers, and project stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
• Identify and communicate field issues, assisting with problem resolution and coordination between project team members.
• Work on a variety of water and wastewater facilities, including pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, storage reservoirs, and related infrastructure.
