The Town of Cohasset is seeking an experienced, organized, and customer-focused Water and Sewer Operations Manager to coordinate the daily administrative, financial, regulatory, and operational support functions of the Town’s Water and Sewer Divisions. This full-time (35 hours a week), non-union position serves as a central point of coordination among division staff, the Water and Sewer Commissioners, residents, businesses, contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, and other Town departments. Key responsibilities include managing utility billing and customer accounts, coordinating permits and applications, supporting Water and Sewer Commission meetings, tracking projects and work orders, assisting with budgets and procurement, maintaining regulatory records, preparing reports and public communications, and developing efficient departmental procedures. The position also provides administrative support during water and sewer emergencies and requires regular attendance at evening meetings.
