Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GDA is preferred.
  • Watchmaking diploma or certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Watchmaking is preferred.
  • High level of dexterity and focus to handle small parts, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and efficiently provide a high level of quality.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems by using adequate processes and tools available.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform all functions of watchmaking as determined by offered level.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Computer skills are a plus.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

Nice To Haves

  • Working experience with luxury brands is a plus.
  • Watchmaking level will be determined by years of experience, and proven ability to repair higher complications and calibers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks following accepted industry standard procedures for product repairs.
  • Diagnose watch conditions, identify root causes of problems, and select adequate services according to brand policy.
  • Dismantle timepieces, including removing straps/bracelets, separating movements/dials/hands from case components, and dismantling case components.
  • Install and assemble watch case components in preparation for movement encasing, and check for waterproofness.
  • Analyze and repair watch movements, developing or using adequate tools and processes to resolve issues, including fixing existing components when spare parts are limited.
  • Perform first quality control after movement encasing to ensure the piece is in working order.
  • Transfer completed pieces to the Quality Control Department.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring calibration and high standards.
  • Maintain a cleaned, organized, and safe working area.
  • Follow RNA and Brands’ specifications for tools, technical procedures, work assignments, quality standards, and Standard Time of Operations (STOs).
