About The Position

Xylem is hiring a Wastewater Treatment Technician to work at its site in Goose Creek, South Carolina. The role involves on-site operation, service, and maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment. Equipment-specific training will be provided, and candidates with experience maintaining or operating wastewater systems are especially encouraged to apply.

The facility operates 24/7. This position is for the afternoon/second shift, primarily four 10-hour shifts per week, with flexibility to occasionally cover other shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a high customer-facing position.
• Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns.
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of technical experience, preferably in industrial or commercial process water.
• Previous experience maintaining or operating wastewater systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to use smart devices.
