About The Position
Under general supervision, this role involves training to operate various heavy equipment such as backhoes, Vactor trucks, dump trucks, Bobcats, bush hogs, and air hammers. The position performs rain detail duties and is responsible for the construction, installation, and maintenance of storm water catch basins and lines. It also includes clearing blockages in storm water system lines and operating specialized equipment for maintenance and repair of these lines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma supplemented by a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a job-related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid South Carolina Driver's License.
- Valid South Carolina Class B Commercial Driver's License.
- Experience operating heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate a backhoe, Vactor truck, dump truck, bobcat, bush hog, air hammer etc.
- Perform rain detail duties.
