Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalency.
One (1) year experience in Wastewater laboratory and treatment procedures.
Must possess a TCEQ Class "B" Wastewater Operator's License.
Excellent knowledge of wastewater treatment laboratory procedures.
Excellent knowledge of water quality testing procedures.
Excellent public relations skills.
Dependability.

Nice To Haves

Three (3) years' experience in a related field.
Prefers hands-on work.
Enjoys working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform complex inspection and oversee the daily process control of the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Conduct testing and analysis.
Handle administrative duties related to the Wastewater Treatment Plant Laboratory.
Assist the Plant Manager in coordinating the financial, operational, and physical resources of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Laboratory.
Prepare and review all periodic reports concerning Wastewater Treatment Plant Lab operations, performance, and maintenance.
Conduct seminars and training sessions to explain industrial treatment techniques.
Conduct public tours of the Plant.
Aid and support other divisions within the department as needed.
