About The Position

Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Wastewater Project Engineer to join our company. The salary range is $78,000 - $125,000/yr. Final salary is based on education, experience, certifications, and location. The role involves technical design of wastewater treatment, pumping and piping projects, performing hydraulic modeling and pipeline design, and working on projects from conceptual design through construction. Responsibilities also include performing engineering calculations, writing technical reports, memos and emails, gathering and analyzing data, and field work. Essential functions include effective written and verbal communication skills, personal organization and time management skills, ability to work and thrive in a team environment, commitment to continual learning, effective client relationship skills, excellent attention to detail, and strong critical thinking skills.

Requirements

  • 3-8 years of experience working on wastewater projects
  • Engineer in Training Certification required
  • B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
