About The Position

This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters. The role involves operating and maintaining wastewater treatment equipment and systems to ensure effluent water quality meets state required permit levels.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to obtain State Wastewater License
• Ability to perform basic computer skills
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts
• Ability to work holidays and weekends

Nice To Haves

• Previous wastewater experience
• Mechanical experience

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and systems
• Operate Sequencing Batch Reactor system to ensure that effluent water quality meets state required permit levels
• Operate Biogas System
• Enter plant data into spreadsheets
• Cleanliness and housekeeping
• Perform laboratory tests
