Requirements
- Hands-on experience in water or wastewater treatment operations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of process control, regulatory requirements, and safe work practices
- Ability to perform maintenance and emergency repairs independently
- Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment such as pumps, valves, motors, belt presses, and disinfection systems
- Perform routine testing, process monitoring, and basic laboratory analysis
- Maintain and troubleshoot treatment systems, ensuring optimal performance
- Record and track plant data, including flow rates, chemical usage, and system performance
- Respond to after-hours emergencies and callouts to repair equipment and systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance and support mechanical and electrical repairs
- Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and secure at all times
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service when needed
- Follow all safety, regulatory, and operational procedures
