Our ideal Wastewater Operations Team Lead candidate will have the following capabilities and skills: Additional Information: Operators Unlimited reserves the right to pursue growth by adding additional responsibilities to any OU job position when needed. Hiring is finalized after a successful completion of a background and drug screening

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the wastewater industry required
  • 2+ years in a supervisor role
  • Have an appropriate wastewater license
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and kneel to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections
  • Must be able to walk through a large facility
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to work in an environmental setting

Responsibilities

  • Team Member Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Leadership, management, and accountability for designated Wastewater Operations Specialists
  • Complete quarterly one on ones with team members
  • Run wastewater treatment plants within permit limits
  • Support the Director of Operations
  • Alternate wastewater operations scheduler
  • Manage wastewater contractors
