About The Position

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Distribution Operations Team Lead to serve as the primary liaison between our internal and external operations partners. This role ensures the efficient movement of materials, inventory accuracy, and compliance with shipping and safety regulations. In this role, you will also troubleshoot operational challenges, coordinate with the internal departments, and support training and process improvements. You may also need to operate warehouse equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics environment.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of ERP and WMS systems, such as Oracle and SAP
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and hazardous material handling.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems, scanning technology, and shipping equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Detail-oriented
• Inventory Control Knowledge
• Knowledge of International and Customs required paperwork.
