About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. In this role you will perform a wide range of mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on production and plant equipment. You will also perform single phase and 3 phase electrical troubleshooting and repairs on production and plant equipment. Additionally, you will perform operation and maintenance of wastewater collection systems or wastewater pre-treatment systems, fabrication and welding duties as needed, and read and follow instructions to complete required paperwork. You will wear necessary safety equipment, read electrical schematics, and work with hazardous chemicals. Effective communication with all levels of team members, including management, is essential. Knowledge of control voltage, pneumatics, hydraulics, and 3 phase wiring is helpful for repairs and maintenance on processing production lines and auxiliary equipment. Wastewater experience is preferred.

Requirements

Meet all specific job requirements.
Have a good work record (Disciplines: no written in the last 6 months, no written w/suspension in the last 12 months).
Have good attendance (4 points or below).
Must have completed the 90-day probationary period.
Applicants will be considered for maintenance level openings, and an offer will be determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of control voltage, pneumatics, hydraulics, and 3 phase wiring is helpful to perform repairs and maintenance on processing production lines and auxiliary equipment.
