Woodard & Curran also aids employees in earning, upgrading, and keeping their certifications within the industry. Our wastewater collection system operators participate in the operations and maintenance of our Wastewater Collection System and/or Wastewater Pumping Stations, which may include CCTV work, line repair and replacement, road flagging, and water disconnects. This individual may also operate water and/or wastewater treatment plant equipment in a support role. Performs skilled, journeyman-level work in monitoring, repairing and controlling the functioning of pump station and plant equipment and processes.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a DOT background check, DOT pre-placement physical and DOT drug screen before employment

Nice To Haves

  • A valid Class A CDL is preferred
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience in the wastewater industry is preferred
  • May require working an on-call schedule, irregular work schedule and overtime hours

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the operations and maintenance of our Wastewater Collection System and/or Wastewater Pumping Stations
  • Perform CCTV work
  • Perform line repair and replacement
  • Perform road flagging
  • Perform water disconnects
  • Operate water and/or wastewater treatment plant equipment in a support role
  • Perform skilled, journeyman-level work in monitoring, repairing and controlling the functioning of pump station and plant equipment and processes
