About The Position
A Wastewater Level A Operator understands most of the overall operations; should be able to rebuild all pumps/equipment. Will have a Level III WW License and have at least two years acting in a position of Direct Responsible Charge. This role involves assisting in the control of the overall environmental compliance program for water treatment systems, including oversight of monitoring and reporting sample results. The operator will adhere to all safety requirements, operate the Water Treatment system, maintain maintenance schedules, respond to repairs, perform compliance recordkeeping, and conduct Process Control lab work.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering from an accredited college or university or equivalent credit hours in any other curriculum board approved.
- 4 years of acceptable Operating Experience in Wastewater Facilities of Class II or higher; two years in a position of Direct Responsible Charge.
- Level III WW license.
- Current Wastewater License
- Driver's License
Responsibilities
- Assist in the control of the overall environmental compliance program for water treatment system.
- Oversight of all required monitoring and reporting sample results required by federal, state and local regulations.
- Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions.
- Lock out Tag out procedures and Process Safety Management related matters.
- Operation of the Water Treatment system, able to maintain maintenance schedule and respond to repairs.
- Compliance Recordkeeping
- Perform Process Control lab work
