About The Position

The Waste Water Operator II oversees maintenance and repair of acid waste water/pH neutralization system to ensure compliance with WSSC requirements to larger O/M contract.

Requirements

• Some vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience, required.
• Waster Water Operator II Certification
• Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
• Works well independently and with others.
• Good communication skills; ability to follow directions in English.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
• Must be able to pass national background check & drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Industrial and/or Commercial maintenance is preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, plumbing, communications, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair of such systems desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the maintenance and repair of the acid waste water and pH neutralization system to ensure compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
