About The Position

The Waste Treatment Handler processes waste for Manufacturing Operations and supports leadership and maintenance staff in driving operational excellence. The role focuses on maintaining quality standards that meet or exceed customer expectations while supporting a professional and efficient environment for production employees. This position is onsite at a manufacturing location.

Requirements

No formal education or experience is required.
Demonstrate reliability and dependability.
Ability to work overtime as needed and meet deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Be an effective team player, self-motivated, and a quick learner.
Good communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Prior work experience in manufacturing, safety, or a similar field.
Prior waste handling experience.
DOT training.
Forklift certification; Tremco is willing to provide training.

Responsibilities

Perform work safely by following all safety rules and procedures.
Operate and maintain waste management activities according to standardized processes.
Coordinate waste pickups and removal.
Clean and maintain assigned areas to support proper functionality and safety.
Document accurate waste activity records.
Assist the maintenance and management teams with designated projects as needed.
Participate in continuous improvement.
Report incidents, near misses, and non-conformances through appropriate channels.
Follow company policies and standard work procedures and exemplify organizational values.
Provide input on and coordinate waste supply purchases.
Complete other projects and tasks as assigned.
Cross-train on other production functions to provide support as business needs dictate.
