About The Position

The Waste Technician is responsible for collecting and transporting waste materials, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and operating company vehicles and equipment safely. This role involves managing cardboard, trash, recycling, and scrap metal, as well as organizing used pallets. The technician must adhere to all company safety policies and procedures and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Valid non-CDL Class C driver's license or a Class C learner's permit required.
Candidates with a permit must be able to obtain a valid non-CDL Class C driver's license while employed.
Ability to safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
Ability to lift, move, and transport materials as required.
Strong attention to safety, organization, and teamwork.
1 year of experience with waste management.

Responsibilities

Collect and transport baled cardboard to designated disposal or recycling areas.
Remove and dispose of trash and recycling gondolas throughout company campuses.
Collect and transport scrap metal to the appropriate recycling or disposal locations.
Move and organize used pallets as needed.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe loading docks and waste collection areas.
Operate company vehicles safely while traveling between buildings and facilities.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
